PSA for Radio Contest Winners

Congratulations to Kate Mesenbring, Amanda Lowe, Nick Schwengler and Johnny Sorich, all eighth graders at St. Joseph School in Bradley.  Their PSA, “How It Ruined Our Lives” aired on WVLI 95.1 FM Radio and WRIV during Red Ribbon Week. They are pictured with WVLI radio personality Chris Nickles.

The contest, which is sponsored by the Pledge for Life Partnership, the I-KAN Regional Office of Education and Milner Broadcasting and open to all 7th and 8th grade students in Kankakee and Iroquois counties who participate in the LEC’s junior high school underage drinking prevention program.
